This guide provides essential instructions for the assembly and maintenance of the CAT CT1CYR rolling cabinet. Key procedures include installing the side handle and casters, operating the locking mechanism, and properly removing or installing drawers for maintenance.

Assembly

Before using the cabinet, ensure the following components are installed:

• Side Handle: Attach the handle to the side of the cabinet using the included screws.
• Casters: The unit requires 2 fixed casters and 2 swivel casters. Ensure that the swivel casters are installed on the same side of the cabinet.

Locking mechanism

The cabinet features a locking system. To engage the lock, rotate the cam lock with the provided key. Warning: Drawers must be fully closed before the locking mechanism is engaged.

Drawer operation

If you need to remove or install drawers, follow these procedures:

How to remove drawers

Each drawer slide is equipped with a black retaining clip. To remove a drawer:

1. Locate the retaining clips on the slides.
2. Push the lever on the left side of the slide up.
3. Simultaneously, push the lever on the right side of the slide down.
4. Slide the drawer out of the cabinet.

How to install drawers

1. Pull the slide out from the cabinet.
2. Match the drawer track to the slide and push it in.
3. Note: It is normal to feel resistance when pushing the drawer in during installation.
4. Push the drawer all the way in and pull it out 2-3 times to verify smooth operation. If the drawer is blocked, remove and re-install it.

Maintenance

To ensure smooth operation of the drawer slides, lubricate them periodically with light grease. This maintenance should be performed at least twice a year, or more frequently depending on the frequency of use.
