Safety First

Warning: Never operate this generator indoors, including inside homes or garages, even if doors and windows are open. Generator exhaust contains carbon monoxide, a colorless and odorless poison that can be fatal within minutes. Always operate the unit outdoors, far away from windows, doors, and vents. Maintain a clearance of at least 5 feet (1.5 m) from the generator to prevent heat from the muffler and exhaust from igniting combustible materials.

Initial Setup

Before starting the generator, complete the following assembly steps:

  • Wheel Kit: Attach the wheels to the generator frame.
  • Battery Connection: Cut the cable ties on both sides of the battery connector and firmly push the two halves together.
  • Engine Oil: Add the recommended 10W-30 engine oil. The capacity is up to 37.2 fl. oz. (1100 ml). Do not overfill.

Starting the Generator

Ensure no electrical devices are plugged into the generator before starting or stopping it. To start the engine:

  • Gasoline: Turn the fuel select dial to the "GASOLINE RUN" position, press the ignition control button once to enter standby mode, and press the "START" button on the remote control.
  • Propane/Natural Gas: Open the gas valve, turn the fuel select dial to the appropriate "PROPANE RUN" or "NATURAL GAS RUN" position, press the ignition control button once, and press the "START" button on the remote.

If the battery is discharged, you must refer to the full operator's manual for the manual start procedure.

Operation

Once the engine is running, ensure all circuit breakers are in the "ON" or closed position before connecting any electrical loads. If a breaker trips, flip or push it to reset.
