This sprayer is designed specifically for acidic solutions. Never use with flammable, chlorine, bleach, caustic, or other corrosive solutions that produce heat, pressure, or gas. Always wear protective gear including goggles, gloves, long sleeves, and pants. Do not leave the sprayer pressurized in the sun.
Assembly: Hose to Tank

- Ensure the white outlet tube is attached to the outlet tube adapter (Fig. 1A).
- Insert the outlet tube portion of the discharge assembly into the tank adapter (Fig. 1B).
- Firmly insert the outlet tube adapter into the tank adapter, lining up the tab with the notches on the tank adapter (Fig. 1D).
- Firmly tighten the retaining nut to the tank adapter (Fig. 1E).
Pre-Use Check
Before every use, perform the following checks:
- Check the tightness of the hose nut.
- Inspect the hose for cracks, softness, or brittleness. Replace if damaged.
- Remove the pump and inspect the interior and exterior of the tank for deterioration. If found, discard the tank immediately.
- Test with water only: Pump 10-20 strokes and inspect for leaks.
- Inspect all metal parts (wand, nozzle, fittings) for rust or corrosion.
Filling
- Turn the pump handle counterclockwise to remove the pump.
- Prepare the spray solution according to the chemical manufacturer's instructions.
- Fill the tank to the proper gallon marker. Do not overfill to accommodate the pump.
- Check the pump barrel for grass or dirt, then replace the pump and tighten securely.
Pressurizing and Spraying

- To Pressurize: Pump until you feel resistance.
- To Spray: Push the handle down, turn 1/4 turn clockwise to lock, and begin spraying. Re-pump as required to maintain spray force.
- To Stop: Turn the handle clockwise to tighten, push down, and turn 1/4 turn counterclockwise to release.
Releasing Pressure
The sprayer is equipped with a pressure relief valve. To release pressure:
- Lift and hold the cap until air is completely exhausted, OR
- Turn the valve slowly counterclockwise until you hear air escaping and wait until all air is exhausted.
- Stay away from the sprayer until all air has escaped.
Care, Storage and Maintenance
- Follow chemical manufacturer's instructions for cleaning. Rinse thoroughly with recommended solvent.
- Run recommended solvent through the discharge assembly.
- Release pressure, remove the pump, and empty the sprayer.
- Store the tank upside down with the pump removed in a warm, dry location.
- Periodically oil the pump by dropping 10-12 drops of light oil down the pump rod through the opening in the cover.
Troubleshooting
If the sprayer is not spraying correctly, clean the nozzle assembly:

- Remove the nozzle cap by unscrewing it.
- Clean the nozzle and re-assemble.
