Quick guide from the manual
The Chord PB-959 is a portable power bank designed for wire-free operation of effect pedals. It features dual 9V DC outputs and a 5V USB output. Important: Do not use the USB and 9V outputs simultaneously. Ensure all connected pedals operate on 9V DC with centre-negative polarity.

Charging the device
Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge the power bank. Connect the supplied USB A to micro-B lead to the micro-B socket (8) and a 5V USB power supply (minimum 2A output, not included). A full charge takes approximately 5 hours, indicated by 4 steady red LEDs.
Operation
- 9V Pedal Power: Connect the supplied DC jack leads from the 9V outputs (4, 7) to your pedals. Press and hold the 9V Power Button (3) for 2 seconds to activate. The 9V power LED and charge status indicators will light. To switch off, press and hold the button again.
- USB Power: Connect a device to the USB-A socket (5). The power bank will automatically deliver 5V (2A max). The unit switches off automatically when the device is fully charged.
- LED Torch: Double-press the 9V Power Button (3) to toggle the built-in LED torch (6) on or off.
