The CLAS OE 0035BL is a diagnostic tool designed to check the status of 12V batteries, alternators, and battery chargers. This guide provides the necessary steps to perform these tests safely. Test Battery

1. Turn off the AC power to the battery charger.
2. Turn off the engine or any other charging sources (e.g., solar panels).
3. Connect the negative lead of the tester to the negative post of the battery.
4. Touch the positive probe to the positive post of the battery to read the status via the LED indicators.

Test the Alternator

1. With the engine running, perform the battery voltage test as described in the Test Battery section.

Test the Battery Charger

1. Turn off the AC power.
2. Disconnect the negative lead of the battery charger from the battery (the positive lead may remain connected).
3. Connect the negative lead of the tester to the negative post of the battery.
4. Turn on the AC power.
5. Touch the positive probe to the positive lead from the battery charger to read the voltage output.
6. Repeat the process for each battery.
