Quick guide from the manual
The CLAS OP 0053BL is a pneumatic vacuum brake bleeder designed for professional automotive maintenance. It uses compressed air to create a vacuum, allowing for efficient bleeding of brake systems. This tool is intended for use by qualified personnel only.

Safety Advice
- Qualified Personnel Only: Brake systems must only be maintained by trained professionals.
- Vehicle Security: Always ensure the vehicle is securely immobilized before starting work.
- Brake Fluid Handling: Brake fluid is hygroscopic and absorbs moisture from the air. This can lower the boiling point and cause total brake system malfunction. Always use new, unused brake fluid.
- Manufacturer Guidelines: Always follow the specific recommendations provided by the vehicle manufacturer.
Operating Instructions
- Connect the brake bleeder to a compressed air supply (maximum 8 bar).
- Do not operate the brake pedal during the bleeding process.
- Attach the bleeding adapter to the nozzle on the brake caliper or wheel cylinder.
- Open the nozzle slowly. Opening it too far may cause air to be sucked into the system via the nozzle thread; opening it too little may restrict fluid flow.
- Activate the bleeder's trigger to create a vacuum and draw the brake fluid into the drain canister.
- Once the fluid flows bubble-free through the clear hose, close the nozzle and remove the adapter.
- Repeat these steps for each brake caliper or wheel cylinder.
- Ensure there is always sufficient fresh brake fluid in the refilling canister to prevent air from entering the circuit.
- After finishing, check the filling level in the vehicle's brake fluid reservoir and refill if necessary.
Maintenance
We recommend a thorough cleaning of the tool after each use to ensure longevity and proper function.

Practical help
Common problems
Check if the nozzle is opened correctly. If the vehicle has a load-dependent brake system on the rear axle, follow the specific manufacturer's instructions.
Ensure the nozzle is not opened too far, which can suck in surrounding air. Maintain sufficient fresh brake fluid in the refilling canister.
Before use
- Ensure the vehicle is securely immobilized.
- Verify compressed air supply is available (max 8 bar).
- Have new, unused brake fluid ready.
- Check that the brake bleeder is clean.
Specs in practice
- Max Air Pressure
- 8 Bar. Do not exceed this pressure to avoid damage.
Model compatibility
- Not suitable for all vehicles; check manufacturer instructions for vehicles with load-dependent brake systems on the rear axle or ABS.
