This document provides instructions for the 08-V015-0493 disassembly tool, which is designed to assist in removing hanger clamps from conductor rail systems. The tool set consists of two specific tools used in sequence to safely release the clamp.
Safety information
Warning: There is a risk of injury due to the crushing of skin and limbs. This is caused by spring force, gravity (stored energy), and falling conductor rail system components if they have not been properly installed or are operated under inappropriate conditions.
- Only allow installation and disassembly to be conducted by specialized technicians.
- Always wear personal protective equipment.
Using the disassembly tool

- Position Tool 1: Slide Tool 1 up to the stopper between the conductor rail and the hanger clamp.
- Secure the rail: Press the conductor rail against Tool 1 or against the hanger clamp.
- Insert Tool 2: At the same time, insert Tool 2 on the open side of the conductor rail. The retaining clamp of the hanger clamp will bend up.
- Remove rail: Pull out the conductor rail.
- Remove Tool 2: Remove Tool 2 from the open side of the conductor rail.
Removing Tool 1
To remove Tool 1 after the rail has been extracted, the tension spring of the retaining clamp may need to be pushed away to release the tool.
