Decathlon 10-Year Outdoor Table Warranty

Warranty Overview

Decathlon provides a 10-year warranty on all outdoor table tennis tables from the Artengo, Pongori, and Decathlon brands purchased from 2015 onwards. This warranty is valid from the date of purchase and requires proof of purchase, such as a Decathlon loyalty card, receipt, or invoice. For tables not covered by this specific 10-year policy, the standard warranty period is two years.

What is Covered

The warranty specifically covers essential structural and functional components of the table. This includes the table locking and unlocking mechanisms, the wheels, all metal parts including screws, and the table surface itself in cases of deformation, delamination, or fading of the white markings. If a defect is confirmed, Decathlon will replace the faulty parts or the entire table. Decathlon covers the transport costs associated with these replacements.

Exclusions and Limitations

The 10-year warranty does not cover normal wear and tear of consumable parts such as nets or wheels. It also excludes damage resulting from group or commercial use, improper assembly not following the provided instructions, or failure to adhere to safety and usage guidelines. Furthermore, the warranty is void if the table has not been properly maintained, such as failing to lubricate the fork pins every two years. Damage caused by the use of corrosive cleaning agents, scratches, corrosion, discoloration, or external impacts like wind-blown tipping is also excluded.

To ensure the longevity of your table and maintain warranty eligibility, regular maintenance is required. Decathlon reserves the right to verify warranty claims, which may include requesting photographic evidence of the defective parts.
