  1. Prepare the motherboard by installing the Intel backplate (3) on the underside.

  4. Apply thermal paste (8) to the CPU surface.
  5. Secure the heatsink assembly onto the motherboard using the screws (10).
  6. Attach the fan (2) to the heatsink using the fan clips (7).
  7. Connect the fan cable to the CPU_FAN header on the motherboard.

Fan not spinning

Ensure the 4-pin fan connector is securely plugged into the CPU_FAN, CPU_OPT, or CHA_FAN header on the motherboard.
