This document provides installation instructions for the Deepcool LE Series liquid CPU coolers (LE320, LE520, LE720). It covers mounting the pump block to various Intel and AMD sockets, attaching fans to the radiator, and connecting the cooling system to the motherboard.
Components
The package includes the liquid cooler unit, fans (1x for 120mm, 2x for 240mm, 3x for 360mm), mounting brackets for Intel and AMD, backplate, screws, standoffs, and a fan hub cable (for 240/360mm models).
Installation
Intel LGA1200/1151/1150/1155
- Prepare the backplate (E) by sliding the pins to the correct position.
- Install the backplate (E) onto the motherboard and secure it with standoffs (J).
- Attach the Intel mounting bracket (I) to the pump block (A) using screws (F).
- Place the pump block onto the CPU and secure it with thumb nuts (G).
Intel LGA1700
- Prepare the backplate (E) by sliding the pins to the LGA1700 position.
- Install the backplate (E) onto the motherboard and secure it with standoffs (K).
- Attach the Intel mounting bracket (I) to the pump block (A) using screws (F).
- Place the pump block onto the CPU and secure it with thumb nuts (G).
AMD AM5/AM4
- Remove the original AMD plastic mounting brackets from the motherboard, keeping the original backplate.
- Install the AMD standoffs (M) into the motherboard backplate.
- Attach the AMD mounting bracket (L) to the pump block (A) using screws (F).
- Place the pump block onto the CPU and secure it with thumb nuts (G).
Fan & Radiator Assembly
Attach the fans (B) to the radiator (A) using the long screws (C). If mounting the radiator to the PC case, use the short screws (D).
Connections
Connect the pump and fan cables to the motherboard headers. For LE320, connect the pump and fan directly. For LE520 and LE720, use the included fan hub (H) to connect all fans to a single motherboard header. Ensure the 5V ARGB cable is connected to the motherboard's 5V 3-pin header.

Common problems
Incompatible mounting
Ensure you are using the correct backplate position and standoffs for your specific socket (LGA1700 vs LGA115x vs AM4/AM5).
Fan connection issues
Use the provided fan hub (H) for 240mm and 360mm models to consolidate fan connections to a single motherboard header.

- Verify all components listed in the manual are present.
- Identify your CPU socket type (Intel or AMD).
- Ensure the motherboard backplate is correctly positioned for your socket.
- Check that the pump block is securely fastened with thumb nuts.
