This document provides instructions for the Dewenwils 11C wireless remote control socket. The system is designed for indoor use only. The receiver and transmitter come pre-paired from the factory, but can be re-programmed if necessary. Ensure the device load does not exceed 1200W (10A).
Operating Instructions
To begin using the device:
- Plug the receiver into a powered wall outlet.
- Remove the battery isolation tab from the transmitter's battery compartment.
- Use the ON/OFF buttons on the transmitter to control the connected device.
- The receiver's program button also functions as a manual ON/OFF switch.
- The receiver will remain in the OFF state after a power outage to save energy.
Programming the Receiver
If you need to re-pair or customize your remote settings, follow these steps:
- Cancel existing pairing: Unplug the receiver, press and hold the program button, plug it back into the outlet while continuing to hold the button for 5 seconds until the indicator flashes.
- Pairing: Press the program button on the receiver for 6 seconds until the indicator flashes slowly. Release the button and immediately press the ON or OFF button on the remote control. The indicator will stop flashing when pairing is successful.
Mounting the Wall Switch
The wall switch can be mounted to a surface using the provided screws. Ensure the switch is placed within the 100-foot range of the receiver.
Battery Replacement
If the receiver becomes unresponsive or the transmitter indicator dims, replace the battery:
- Open the battery compartment on the back of the transmitter.
- Replace the old battery with a new 12V (type 23A) battery.
- Ensure the polarity (+/-) is correctly aligned.
