Quick guide from the manual
This document provides instructions for installing and maintaining the Falcon Ridge Bobcat 2200 Mini Cab Enclosure. The installation is best performed at temperatures of 70°F (21°C) or warmer to ensure proper adhesion of the Velcro strips. If installing in colder conditions, store the adhesive Velcro at room temperature prior to application.
Installation procedure
- Prepare the vehicle by cleaning the surfaces and unhooking the hood.
- Install the windshield first according to its specific instructions.
- Drape the enclosure over the top of the vehicle and center it on the roll cage.
- Raise the bed and attach the 32-inch adhesive Velcro strip across the bottom rear of the cab. Pull the rear of the enclosure down and affix it to the Velcro.
- Pull the front of the cab down and attach the 48-inch adhesive Velcro strip along the top of the windshield.
- Install four 8-inch Velcro tabs on the left and right sides of the roll cage for the front window.
- Apply the 3-inch adhesive strips to the inside of the frame where the double-sided strips are sewn to the bottom of the front wing.
- Attach the two 10-inch adhesive strips down the sides of the rear window.
Cleaning and maintenance
To prevent scratching the vinyl windows, clean them only with a soft rag or sponge using a mild liquid detergent and warm water solution. Never rub the windows with a dry cloth. Always allow the enclosure to dry thoroughly before storage.
Storage recommendations
It is critical to roll the enclosure for storage rather than folding it, as folding will cause permanent damage to the windows. Roll the cab into a cylinder approximately 8 inches in diameter and store it in the original carton at room temperature. Avoid exposing the enclosure to extreme temperatures.
