This manual covers the operation of the Dometic 10-Series absorber refrigerators. Before first use, clean the interior and exterior with a damp cloth. Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface. If you smell gas, immediately open windows, extinguish open flames, do not touch electrical switches, and call your gas supplier. The refrigerator operates on 12V DC, AC power, or liquefied gas (propane/butane).
Safety instructions
- Electrocution hazard: Installation and removal must be carried out by qualified personnel. Do not operate if visibly damaged.
- Fire/Explosion hazard: Never use a naked flame to check for leaks. Do not store explosive substances like spray cans in the device.
- Gas operation: Only use propane or butane. Never operate on gas at petrol stations, in parking garages, or on ferries.
- Health hazard: Do not store medications or corrosive substances. Store raw meat and fish in suitable containers.
Using the refrigerator
The refrigerator features an automatic mode that selects the most economical energy source (AC, DC, or Gas). To switch on, press the control knob (TFT models) or the ON/OFF button (LED models) for 2 seconds. To switch off, press for 4 seconds.

Control and display
The display shows cooling capacity, energy source, and fault indications. In automatic mode, the system prioritizes AC, then DC, then Gas. The fan function (if installed) activates automatically when ambient temperatures exceed 32°C or if cooling is insufficient.
Door usage
The door can be locked for travel. Ensure the door clicks shut at the top and bottom. For long periods of inactivity, use the winter position to prevent mold; pull the hook out at the top and bottom of the door and press the door against the unit until the pin snaps into the hook.
Food storage
Store food as shown in the diagrams. The ice compartment is for making ice cubes and keeping frozen food, not for freezing fresh food. Use the VG fresh base (on specific models) to regulate humidity in the vegetable compartment by adjusting the slider.
Cleaning and maintenance
Clean the refrigerator regularly with a damp cloth. Ensure the condensate drain is not blocked. Keep ventilation grills free of dust and pollutants. The gas burner should be cleaned at least once a year by a professional or if you experience poor ignition.

Troubleshooting
Faults are indicated by a warning symbol, a fault ID, and a beep. WARNING type faults reset automatically once rectified. ERROR type faults require manual reset by pressing the control knob or ON/OFF button for 2 seconds. Common issues include fuse failure, empty gas cylinders, or insufficient ventilation.
