The East Oak 1500W Premium Electric 2-in-1 Wall Mount Patio Heater (SPH22001) is designed for outdoor use. It features ultra-low glare technology, remote control operation, and an overheat protection system. Before use, ensure the unit is installed at least 1.8m from the floor, 0.25m from the ceiling, and 0.5m from walls. Always maintain a 3-foot clearance from combustible materials.
Safety Information
Danger: To avoid overheating, do not cover the product while in use. This appliance is for adult use only; children under 8 years old should be supervised. Do not use in small rooms with children or pets.
Caution: The heater becomes extremely hot during operation. Do not touch the unit while in use. Do not place the heater immediately below a socket outlet. Keep combustible items like curtains, cloth, gas, or flammable liquids at least 3 feet away.
Installation
The heater must be installed by an authorized specialist. Ensure the mounting surface is stable and suitable for the weight of the appliance. The recommended mounting angle is 45 degrees to the surface. Regularly check screw connections, as wind or rain may cause them to loosen over time.
Operation
The heater can be operated via the remote control or the buttons on the unit. The remote control requires 2 AAA 1.5V batteries (sold separately). For optimal performance, align the remote directly with the receiver on the heater. The heater features a soft start function; after pressing ON, it will turn on after 4 seconds and automatically switch to the last used heating level.
Care and Maintenance
Before cleaning, always unplug the device and allow it to cool down completely. Wipe the exterior with a clean, lint-free cloth or a soft bristle brush. Do not use abrasive cleaners, rough brushes, or chemical products. Do not immerse the cord, plug, or any part of the heater in water or other liquids.
Overheat Protection
The heater includes an Overheat Protection System that automatically shuts the unit off if parts overheat. If this occurs, turn the heater off, unplug it, and inspect for any obstructions. Wait 5 to 10 minutes for the unit to cool down before plugging it back in and resuming operation.

Common problems
Heater does not turn on or shuts off unexpectedly
Check if the Overheat Protection System has been triggered. Turn off, unplug, remove any obstructions, wait 5-10 minutes for it to cool, then restart.
Remote control is not working
Ensure 2 AAA 1.5V batteries are installed. Check for physical blockages between the remote and the heater. Align the remote directly with the receiver.
Heater components are loose
Check screw connections regularly. Mechanical pressure and oscillation from wind or rain can cause them to loosen.
