This document provides essential instructions for the Ecosmart A19 Motion Sensor Bulb. The bulb features an adjustable color temperature switch and a built-in microwave motion sensor. Always ensure power is turned off at the fixture before making any adjustments to the bulb settings or performing installation.
Operation
To operate the bulb correctly, follow these steps:
- Select color temperature: Use the switch on the bulb to choose between 2700K (Soft White), 3000K (Bright White), 3500K (True White), 4000K, or 5000K (Daylight).
- Turn power off: Ensure the power to the light fixture is completely off.
- Install: Screw the bulb into the fixture.
- Turn power on: Restore power to the fixture.
Important: Power must be continuously supplied to the fixture for the motion sensor to function properly.
Motion Sensor Specifications
- Detection Range: Up to 10 feet when installed facing downwards from a height of 9 feet.
- Sensor Type: Microwave sensor.
- Note: Because it uses a microwave sensor, it may detect motion through walls.
- Recommended Applications: Driveways, hallways, staircases, porches, and closets.

Bulb does not activate via motion
Ensure power is supplied to the fixture at all times and check if the installation height/orientation matches the 10ft/9ft range specifications.
Sensor detects motion through walls
The bulb uses a microwave sensor which is capable of penetrating walls; consider this when choosing the installation location.
Radio or TV interference
Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna, increase separation between the equipment and receiver, or connect to a different circuit.
