Quick guide from the manual
This manual provides essential instructions for the safe and proper use of the Einhell TE-AG 18/115 Li cordless angle grinder. Always read the safety regulations before use. The device is intended for grinding metal and stone using appropriate discs and guards.
Device description
The angle grinder features a spindle lock, an ON/OFF switch, an additional handle, a protective guard, and a flange nut wrench. It is powered by a lithium-ion battery with a capacity indicator.
Assembly and installation
Additional handle: The handle can be attached in three positions (A, B, C) to suit right-handed or left-handed users and for specific cutting tasks. The grinder must not be used without the additional handle.
Protective guard: The guard can be adjusted to protect your hands by directing sparks and debris away from your body. Ensure the guard is securely fastened before operation.
Operation
Battery charging: Remove the battery pack by pressing the pushlock button. Connect the charger to the mains and slide the battery onto the charger. The LED indicators on the charger provide status updates (e.g., charging, fully charged, temperature fault).
Switching on/off: Push the ON/OFF switch to the right and then forward to turn on. To turn off, depress the back of the switch, and it will return to the starting position. Always wait for the machine to reach full speed before applying it to the workpiece.
Changing grinding wheels
Use the provided face spanner to change discs. Press the spindle lock to secure the spindle, then use the wrench to loosen the flange nut. Ensure the spindle lock is only pressed when the motor is at a standstill.

Safety and maintenance
Always remove the battery before performing any cleaning or maintenance. Keep air vents and the motor housing clean. Do not use harsh cleaning agents. Store the tool in a dry, dark place at temperatures between 5°C and 30°C.
