The Eureka EDR 15L HD is a commercial-grade automatic rice cooker. To operate, measure rice using the provided cup, wash the rice, adjust water levels, and place the inner pot directly onto the heater plate. Ensure the pot is clean and dry before use. The unit automatically switches to 'Warm' mode once cooking is complete.

Product Overview

The unit consists of a housing, an inner pot, a lid, and a control panel featuring a switch knob with 'Cook' and 'Warm' indicator lights. Accessories included are a measuring cup, a spatula, and a power cord.

Rice Cooking Procedure

1. Measure rice using the provided cup and pour it into the inner pot.
2. Wash the rice and adjust the water quantity to the desired proportion.
3. Wipe the outside of the inner pot with a soft, dry cloth and place it directly on the heater plate. Ensure it is properly seated by turning it slightly left and right.
4. Plug the unit into a 230V~ 60Hz outlet and press the switch knob. The indicator will transfer to 'COOK'.
5. The lamp will automatically turn to 'WARM' when cooking is finished.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Important: Do not immerse the unit in water.

• Always unplug the unit before cleaning.
• Remove the inner pot and clean it with detergent soap and water. Dry with a soft, dry cloth.
• Use a scouring pad to remove cooked rice from the heater plate.
• Clean with a non-metal brush or sponge. Do not use steel wool or abrasive cleaners.
• Keep the inner pot cover and steaming plate clean and dry.

Safety Precautions

• Do not use the inner pot directly on an open flame.
• Always unplug the unit when not in use. Pull by the plug, never the cord.
• Avoid getting the heater plate wet.
• Do not attempt to repair or reconstruct the unit yourself; contact an authorized service person.
• Ensure the inner pot bottom is not dented or deformed, as this affects cooking efficiency.
• Do not use the cooker for other purposes.
• Place the unit on a stable surface, away from water, high humidity, or heat sources.
• Keep out of reach of children.

Troubleshooting

If the heating plate is not hot, check if the unit is connected to the power supply and inspect the switch, plug, and fuse. If the rice is cooked brown, the switch button or holder may be obstructed, or the thermostat may be malfunctioning. If the rice is undercooked or cooking takes too long, check for a deformed inner pot or foreign matter between the pot and the heater plate.
