Quick guide from the manual
This document provides essential operating instructions for the Extol Industrial 18V cordless drill (8791115/8791116) and cordless impact wrench (8791255/8791256). Both tools use the same 18V Li-ion battery system (4Ah or 6Ah). Always read the full safety instructions before use.
Device Description
The tools feature a brushless motor for higher efficiency and longer lifespan. The drill includes a Jacobs quick-release chuck with Spinlock technology for easy tool changes and a function switch for drilling, hammer drilling, and screwdriving. The impact wrench features a 1/2" square drive and an Autostop function for controlled loosening of fasteners.
Battery Charging
1. Insert the battery into the charger until it clicks. 2. Ensure the power supply matches the charger's voltage (110-240V). 3. A red LED indicates charging, and a green LED indicates a full charge. Always disconnect the charger from the power source before removing the battery.
Operation
Drill: Use the mode switch to select drilling, hammer drilling, or screwdriving. Adjust the torque ring for screwdriving to prevent over-tightening. Use the speed switch (1 for high torque/low speed, 2 for low torque/high speed) based on the task.
Impact Wrench: Use the Autostop function during loosening to prevent fasteners from falling. The impact mechanism activates automatically under load. Do not exceed 10 seconds of impact time to prevent overheating.
Maintenance and Safety
Keep the tool clean using a damp cloth with detergent; avoid organic solvents. Store in a dry place below 45°C. Always remove the battery before maintenance. The tool generates an electromagnetic field that may affect medical implants; consult a doctor if necessary.
