Table of contents
Product Overview
The Extol 100mm series faucets are designed for the supply of potable hot and cold water in buildings. These high-quality fixtures have been tested for reliability, safety, and quality in accordance with European Union standards.
Installation and Operation
Professional installation is required to ensure proper function and to maintain warranty coverage. Before installation, ensure the water supply is clean by flushing the pipes. Check all gaskets for size and quality; if a gasket lacks a built-in strainer, a mechanical particle filter must be installed on the supply line to prevent debris from clogging the cartridge. When viewed from the front, the hot water supply should be connected to the left inlet and cold water to the right.
Thermostatic Faucets
Thermostatic models feature two valves: the left controls flow rate, and the right sets temperature. A child safety lock prevents the water temperature from exceeding 38°C. To exceed this limit, press the safety lock and turn the valve. Bath models include a toggle switch for switching between bath and shower modes; pull the knob and turn it approximately 90 degrees.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Regularly clean the faucet surface using a soft cloth and standard bathroom cleaning agents. Remove limescale with dedicated bathroom descalers. Avoid contact with strong acids, lyes, and abrasive materials, as these will cause irreparable damage to the surface finish.
Troubleshooting
Common issues such as loose levers, dripping, or weak water flow can often be resolved by the user. If the lever is loose, tighten the fastening screw under the plastic cover. If the faucet drips, the cartridge may need tightening or replacement. Weak flow is typically caused by a clogged aerator or gasket screen, which should be cleaned or replaced. Always ensure the water supply is shut off before performing any maintenance.
Warranty and Service
The product is covered by a 2-year warranty from the date of sale. The warranty does not cover damage caused by improper installation, failure to follow the manual, use of inappropriate cleaning agents, or damage resulting from hard water/sediment if no filter was installed.
