Installation
The installation process involves assembling the main frame and attaching it to the caravan. Ensure all bolts and nuts are tightened securely, but follow specific warnings regarding tube connections.
- Assemble the upper frame (A) to the vertical supports (C) using the provided hardware (S, Y).
- Attach the lower frame (D) to the supports using the mounting plates (N) and hardware (T, Y).
- Warning: When attaching the fork to the tube, do not fully tighten; leave a 2 mm gap on both sides.
Usage and Operation
Once installed, the carrier is ready for loading bicycles. Use the provided straps and frame holders (G, H, F) to secure the bikes firmly to the rack.
- Ensure the total weight of the bicycles does not exceed 50 kg (max 25 kg per bike).
- Use the optional Security Strip (Code 98656-419) for added stability.
- Always remove bicycle batteries before transport.
