Before First Use

Ensure all packaging is removed and all components are present. Perform an initial cleaning cycle by filling the water tank, attaching the portafilter, and running the 1-cup coffee function without coffee grounds. Ensure the steam knob is in the CLOSED position during this process.

Operating Instructions

To make coffee, fill the water tank, turn on the machine, and wait for the coffee buttons to stop blinking, indicating the machine is heated. Place the desired filter in the portafilter, add and tamp the coffee, and lock the portafilter into the machine. Place a cup under the spout and press the desired coffee button.

Steam and Milk Frothing

Press the steam button and wait for it to stop blinking. Fill a container 1/3 full with milk. Insert the steam wand 1 cm into the milk and slowly turn the steam knob to the steam/hot water position. Once the milk is heated, turn the knob to CLOSED and press the steam button to deactivate. After use, clean the steam wand immediately.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Unplug and cool the machine before cleaning. The portafilter is not dishwasher safe. Regularly wash the water tank, drip tray, cup rack, and filters with warm water and detergent. If the steam wand clogs, use a needle to clear it.

Descaling

Perform a descaling cycle approximately every 300 coffees, or when the control panel buttons blink 3 times upon startup. Use 10g of lemon juice or citric acid in the water tank filled to the MAX line. Run the solution through the steam wand for 2 minutes, then repeat the process with clean water to rinse the circuit.

Energy Saving

The machine features an auto shut-off function that turns the device off after 25 minutes of inactivity.
