This manual provides essential safety and operating instructions for the Flama 1817FL microwave oven. Always read the safety instructions before first use. The appliance is designed for domestic, indoor use only. Do not operate the microwave while empty, as this can damage the magnetron.

Description
The microwave features a door latch with a safety system, a viewing window, a control panel, a rotating plate mechanism, a rotating plate support, a rotating plate, and a mica plate.

Installation
- Select a level surface with sufficient space for ventilation.
- Minimum installation height is 85 cm.
- Maintain at least 30 cm of clearance above the appliance, and 20 cm behind and on the sides.
- The back of the appliance should be placed against a wall.
- Do not install near heat sources or cooktops.
- Ensure the voltage and frequency match the rating label.
Operation
To cook, place food on the rotating plate and close the door. Use the power level selector to choose the desired power, then turn the timer knob to set the cooking time. The microwave will start automatically if the door is closed. To interrupt cooking, open the door or turn the timer to zero.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Always unplug the appliance before cleaning. Keep the interior clean by wiping splatters with a damp cloth. Do not use harsh sprays or abrasive cleaners. The rotating plate and its support can be washed in warm soapy water or a dishwasher. To remove odors, microwave a cup of water with lemon juice and rind for 5 minutes.
Safety
Do not remove the mica plate, as it protects the magnetron. If the door or sealing areas are damaged, do not use the appliance and contact an authorized Flama technical service. Never attempt to disassemble the microwave yourself.
Troubleshooting
If the microwave does not turn on, check the power connection, fuse, or circuit breaker. If it does not heat, ensure the door is closed properly. If the rotating plate makes noise, clean the support and the base of the microwave.
