Safety instructions

WARNING! Before using the angle grinder, read the operating instructions, the enclosed "General safety instructions" (leaflet no. 315.915), and local accident prevention regulations. Always wear eye and ear protection. Ensure the tool is in perfect working order before use.

Intended use

This angle grinder is designed for commercial use in industry and trade, for dry grinding and cutting of metal and stone, and for surface grinding, derusting, and stripping paint when used with an elastic sanding pad.

Battery

Insert the charged battery into the power tool until it clicks into place. To remove, press the release button and pull out the battery. Check the state of charge by pressing the button on the battery.

Guard

Attach the guard by aligning the lugs on the guard hood with the flange recesses. Turn the guard clockwise to lock it. Rotation is possible in one direction only.

Tool change

Remove the battery. Press and hold the spindle lock. Use the pin wrench to loosen the clamping nut. Insert the grinding wheel, screw on the clamping nut with the flange face up, and tighten with the pin wrench. Perform a test run for approx. 30 seconds to check for imbalances.

Operation

Use the switch rocker for brief operation (push forward and hold) or continuous operation (push forward and engage by pressing the front end). For the LBE 125 18.0-EC model, use the speed control button to select the desired speed.

Maintenance and care

Regularly clean the power tool and ventilation slots. Blow out the housing interior and motor with dry compressed air. Regularly clean the filter cover by removing it and blowing it out with dry compressed air.
