The Global Industrial 293052 is a portable air filtration system designed to remove airborne particles such as mold, dust, pollen, and debris as small as 0.3 microns. It utilizes a 4-stage filtration system. Before operation, ensure the unit is on a stable, level surface and connected to a grounded 115V outlet, preferably protected by a GFCI.
Safety Instructions
- Do not operate with a damaged cord or plug.
- Do not move or adjust the unit while in operation.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Do not alter or modify the unit; use only authorized replacement parts.
- Store in a clean, dry environment. If the motor gets wet, dry it thoroughly before use.
- Do not allow water near or inside the unit to avoid electric shock.
- Always operate on a flat, level surface.
- Never operate without factory-installed safety screens.
- Do not use near combustible gas or flammable materials.
- Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the unit yourself; contact a distributor or certified repair center.
Operating Procedures
The unit uses up to 4 stages of filtration: Pre-pad filter, pre-filter, optional 2nd stage, and a HEPA filter. The pre-pad and pre-filter capture larger particles, while the HEPA filter captures smaller particles.
- Ensure the unit is on a stable, level surface.
- Plug into a grounded 115V outlet. Use a circuit protected by a ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) for maximum safety.
Controls
The control panel features a 1-speed LED switch and a circuit breaker.

- Switch Knob: Turn to ON to start the air scrubber or OFF to stop it.
- Circuit Breaker: Protects the motor from overload. If the breaker trips, unplug the appliance and press the reset button.
Handle Assembly
The unit includes a metal handle for transportation. Use the 4 provided screws to fix the handle onto the housing.

Filter Maintenance
The unit uses a 3-stage filter system (expandable to 4):
- Pre-pad and Pre-filter: Capture largest particles to extend HEPA filter life. Recommended to change for every job (e.g., painting) or based on appearance.
- HEPA Filter: Captures oily aerosol particles down to 0.3 microns. Change within 3 months or when the HEPA change light illuminates.
- Carbon Filter (Optional): Captures VOCs. Change monthly.
Note: Change all filters if there is a risk of cross-infection (e.g., water damage restoration, fire remold). Always wear a mask when changing filters.
Maintenance
- Inspect electrical cord and wiring for damage or discoloration before use.
- Inspect for loose fasteners before each use.
- Clean safety screens before each use.
- Listen for abnormal sounds and shut off immediately if heard.
- Keep the unit clean and free of blockages.
- Use compressed air or a vacuum to remove lint/debris from the motor, inlet, or fan blade.
- Do not use a pressure washer or water hose to clean the unit. Ensure it is completely dry before use.
- The unit has sealed bearings and does not require lubrication.
Troubleshooting
If the blower does not turn on, ensure the switch is in the correct position, check if the circuit breaker/GFCI has tripped, or inspect the cord/wires for damage. If the blower starts and then turns off, check for obstructions in the inlet/outlet. If the blower vibrates, check for a bent motor shaft, bent fan blade, or excessive dirt buildup on the fan blade. If the motor makes noise but the blower won't turn on, check for a damaged motor or a loose motor shaft screw.

Practical help
Common problems
Ensure switch is in the correct position, check if circuit breaker/GFCI has tripped (press reset button), or inspect cord/wires for damage.
Check for obstructions in the inlet or outlet and remove them.
Check for bent motor shaft or fan blade; clean dirt buildup from fan blade.
Inspect housing for warps or dents that might cause it to rub against the blade.
Check for damaged motor/shaft or tighten the motor shaft screw holding the fan blade.
Before use
- Inspect electrical cord and plug for damage.
- Ensure unit is on a stable, level surface.
- Check for loose fasteners.
- Clean safety screens.
- Verify outlet voltage (115V) and grounding.
- Ensure unit is dry if it was previously wet.
Images and diagrams
- Exploded view shows the assembly order of the metal cover, filters, fan motor, housing, and control panel.
- Control panel diagram identifies the HEPA change light, power switch, and circuit breaker reset button.
Model compatibility
- Uses 4-stage filtration: Pre-pad filter, pre-filter, optional carbon filter, and HEPA filter.
- Filters should be changed based on usage (e.g., painting jobs) or specific time intervals (monthly for carbon, 3 months for HEPA).
