This log splitter is designed for splitting firewood in the fiber direction. It is intended for operation by one person only. Ensure the machine is fully assembled before use. Always use the log fixing device during operation. The machine must be secured to the ground using suitable fasteners.
Assembly
The assembly process involves attaching the main components, including the log fixing device and splitting table. Refer to the assembly diagrams on pages 6-9 for the correct sequence and hardware usage.

Operation
Before starting, ensure the work area is flat, slip-resistant, and well-lit. Check hydraulic lines for leaks. The machine uses a two-lever operation system. Both control levers must be pushed down to move the splitting knife. Releasing one lever will stop the knife in its current position. Always use the log fixing device to secure the wood.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance is essential for safe operation. Check hydraulic hoses and connections for tightness after approximately 4 hours of operation. Keep the machine clean and free of debris. Use only original accessories and spare parts. Do not clean with solvents or toxic liquids; use a damp cloth.

Troubleshooting
If the motor does not start, check the fuse, extension cable, and power connection. If the splitting knife does not move, adjust the two-hand control levers or contact service for a faulty control valve. If the splitter lacks power, check the rotation direction, add hydraulic oil, or lubricate the splitting knife.
Technical Data

Common problems
Check the fuse, inspect the extension cable, ensure the 5-wire connection is correct (2.5 mm2 cross-section), and have the condenser switch checked by a professional.
Adjust the two-hand control and starting levers. If the control valve is defective, it must be replaced by a service center.
Check rotation direction, add hydraulic oil, ensure the trigger/hydraulic piston is fully seated, or lubricate the splitting knife if it gets stuck.
