Quick guide from the manual
This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation of the Güde GRK series radial mitre saws. Always read the full safety instructions before starting the machine.

Safety
Always wear safety goggles and ear protection. Do not wear gloves, loose clothing, or jewelry that could get caught in rotating parts. Secure workpieces using clamps or a vice. Never operate the saw in wet or rainy conditions.
Assembly
Place the saw on a stable, flat surface. For stationary use, bolt the machine to a workbench using the provided mounting holes. For model #55003, assemble the stand as illustrated in the manual.
Operation
Switch on the saw using the switch on the inner side of the handle. Allow the blade to reach maximum speed before beginning the cut. Use the locking levers to adjust for skew (13) and mitre (14) cuts. Always hold the workpiece firmly against the stop.
Blade Replacement
Ensure the machine is unplugged and the blade is at a complete standstill. Remove the cover by unscrewing the retaining screws. Lock the blade using the locking knob, then unscrew the blade bolt (note: it has a left-hand thread). Replace the blade, ensuring the teeth point in the direction of rotation.
Maintenance
Regularly clean the motor of sawdust and dust to ensure proper cooling. Lubricate the rotation axle and the protective cover lever occasionally with sewing machine oil if movement becomes stiff.
Troubleshooting
If the cut angle is incorrect, adjust the saw head position. If the motor fails to start, check the carbon brushes and the switch.
Practical help
Common problems
Adjust the saw head position as described in the assembly and first start-up section.
Check if carbon brushes are worn or if the switch is defective; consult a professional.
