Quick guide from the manual

The GYS POWERDUCTION 110LG, 160LG, and 220LG are high-performance induction heaters. Before first use, it is critical to perform the purge cycle to ensure the cooling circuit is free of air. The device requires a 3-phase power supply and must be used with the recommended welding coolant.

Safety Instructions

Induction heating generates intense heat and electromagnetic fields. Do not use if you have a pacemaker or metal implants. Wear protective clothing, gloves, and eye protection (shade 5). Keep the area well-ventilated to avoid inhaling fumes from heated materials or adhesives.

Installation and First Use

Assemble the unit by attaching the wheels and handle as shown in the diagrams. Before operating, fill the reservoir with the recommended welding coolant. Connect the device to the power supply and perform the purge cycle by pressing the accessory change button twice. Ensure liquid flows correctly from the torch.

Operation

To operate, turn the main switch to ON, press the heat authorization button, and use the torch button or pneumatic pedal to start heating. The device features a Timer mode for controlled heating durations (1-30s) and a Forced cooling mode for extended use. The power can be adjusted during operation.

Troubleshooting

The device displays fault codes on the screen. Common issues include E-6 (flow too high) and E-7 (flow too low), which often require checking for pinched hoses or air in the system. For thermal protection faults, allow the device to cool down before restarting.

Practical help

Common problems

E-6 (Flow too high)

Check for a pierced hose or ensure the inductor is properly attached.

E-7 (Flow too low)

Check for pinched or blocked hoses, ensure the pump is operating, and verify coolant levels.

E-11 (Regulation temperature measurement fault)

Check if the temperature sensor is disconnected or short-circuited.

E-12 (Temperature does not change)

Ensure the temperature sensor is correctly positioned.

Before use

  • Verify power supply compatibility (3-phase)
  • Check coolant level in the reservoir
  • Inspect hoses for kinks or leaks
  • Ensure the inductor is securely attached
  • Wear appropriate PPE (gloves, eye protection)
