Safety Precautions

Always prioritize safety when using electrical appliances. Do not touch hot surfaces; use the handle. Never immerse the kettle, power base, or cord in water or other liquids. Ensure the kettle is placed on a level surface and never operate it without water to prevent damage. Always unplug the unit when not in use and allow it to cool before cleaning or handling parts.

Operation

To use the kettle, fill it with water between the 0.5L and MAX marks. Ensure the mesh filter is in place and the lid is securely closed. Press the desired temperature button followed by the START/STOP button. The selected temperature button will flash blue until the target temperature is reached, at which point the kettle will beep six times. If no temperature is selected, the kettle defaults to Boil mode. You can activate the KEEP WARM function at any time to maintain the water temperature for 30 minutes.

Tea Brewing

For optimal results, use filtered water. If using the tea steeper assembly, add tea to the basket, lock it, and insert it into the kettle. Once the water reaches the desired temperature, push the steeper assembly down to begin the infusion process. Avoid over-steeping, as this can make the tea bitter.

Care and Maintenance

Regular cleaning is essential for performance. Empty the kettle after each use to prevent scale buildup. To remove mineral deposits, use a mixture of cream of tartar and water, bring to a boil, then rinse thoroughly. Clean the exterior with a damp cloth and avoid abrasive scouring pads. The anti-scale mesh filter should be cleaned periodically by gently brushing it with a clean, wet toothbrush.

Troubleshooting

If the kettle fails to operate, ensure it is plugged in and properly seated on the base. If the kettle heats but does not boil, it may require descaling. If the unit was accidentally turned on without water, it will automatically shut off; unplug it and allow it to cool for 20 minutes before attempting to use it again.
