The HiKOKI AC 18DA is a cordless caulking gun designed for applying sealants in various environments. Before use, ensure the battery is charged and the correct holder and piston are installed for your specific sealing material (cartridges, sausages, or buckets).
Device Overview
The tool features a trigger switch, speed dial, and LED light. It uses a rack (push-out rod) system to dispense material. The tool is compatible with HiKOKI Multi Volt and BSL18 series batteries.

Operation

- Battery: Insert the battery firmly until it clicks.
- Setup: Choose the appropriate holder and piston for your material. Install the rack with teeth facing downward.
- Speed Adjustment: Adjust the dispensing speed using the dial and trigger pressure. Start at a low speed and increase gradually.
- Switch Operation: Releasing the trigger causes the piston to retract slightly to prevent dripping.
Maintenance and Safety
- Cleaning: Keep the tool clean and free of hardened sealant. Use the included pin to clear the nozzle.
- Battery Care: Charge at 0°C–40°C. Avoid overheating; if the tool stops due to overload or overheating, release the trigger and let it cool.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place out of reach of children.
Troubleshooting
If the tool fails to run, check the battery charge. If it stops suddenly, the battery may be overheated; allow it to cool. For charging issues, ensure the battery is fully inserted and the charger vents are not blocked.
