Product Description

The Hilti AG 150-20D is a hand-held electric angle grinder designed for cutting, grinding, brushing, and sanding metal and mineral materials without the use of water. It features advanced safety and performance technologies, including 3D Active Torque Control (3DATC) for automatic shutdown during sudden movements, a starting current limiter, and constant-speed electronics for efficient material processing.

Safety Instructions

• Always wear personal protective equipment, including eye protection, hearing protection, and a dust mask when working in dusty conditions.
• Ensure the work area is clean and well-lit.
• Do not operate the tool in explosive atmospheres.
• Always hold the tool with both hands using the provided grips.
• Ensure the correct guard is installed for the specific application.
• Do not use the tool if the switch is defective.
• Disconnect the power plug before making adjustments or changing accessories.

Operation

• Starting: Plug the tool into a power outlet, push the switch-on interlock forward, and fully depress the on/off switch.
• Grinding: Maintain a 5° to 30° angle of attack with moderate pressure to prevent overheating and discoloration.
• Cutting: Work with a moderate feed rate and do not tilt the tool or the cutting disc.
• Stopping: Release the on/off switch; the motor will stop automatically.

Maintenance and Troubleshooting

• Regularly clean the air vents and the dust filter.
• If the tool does not start, check the power supply and the power cord/plug.
• If the tool is overloaded, release the switch, press it again, and let the tool run at no load for approximately 30 seconds.
