The Homcom Apollo 18C is an electric fireplace insert designed for indoor floor installation. Before use, ensure the unit is placed away from direct sunlight and dust. Keep all combustible materials (furniture, curtains, etc.) at least 3 feet (0.9m) away from the front, sides, and rear of the heater. Always plug the unit directly into a grounded wall outlet; do not use extension cords or power strips.

Assembly Instructions
Required Tools: Phillips screwdriver (not included).


1. Attaching the Metal Trims:
- Align the metal trims (AA and BB) with the fireplace insert.
- Secure the trims using the provided screws (DD).
2. Installing the Fireplace Insert:
- Place the insert into the desired location.
- Secure the unit using the provided screws (CC) as shown in the assembly diagram.
Operating Instructions
The control panel is located on the top right of the unit.

- Power ON/OFF: Press the Power button to put the fireplace into standby mode and activate the flame effect.
- Heater: Press the Heater button to turn on the heater and blower.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Periodic cleaning of the fan/heater unit is recommended. Always turn the unit OFF and unplug it before cleaning.

- Use a damp cloth (water only) to clean the exterior. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
- Vacuum the firebox vents periodically to prevent dust buildup.
- If the unit has been submerged in water, do not use it; contact a qualified service technician.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues, check the following:
- No power: Ensure the unit is plugged into a standard 120V outlet.
- Flame effect not visible: Open the bottom of the unit and check if the "spinner" is correctly mounted at the rear. Check if the spinning motor is functioning.
- Heater doesn't work: Turn all switches to OFF, unplug the unit for 10 minutes, then plug it back in.
- Unusual noise: A slight noise from the fan or flame motor is normal. If the noise is excessive, check if the screws attaching the flame motor are tightened.
