Product Safety and Usage
These string lights are designed for both indoor and outdoor use, provided they are connected to a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupting (GFCI) outlet. To ensure safety, it is essential to follow all instructions provided. Do not place the product near gas or electric heaters, fireplaces, candles, or other heat sources. The product is not intended for permanent installation or use. Ensure the product is kept away from children, as it is not a toy and poses risks of fire, personal injury, and electric shock.
Installation Guidelines
When installing the lights, avoid mounting or supporting the strings in a manner that could cut or damage the wire insulation. Do not install the lights on trees that have needles, leaves, or branch coverings made of metal or materials that resemble metal. Always ensure the product is securely placed and that the tree is well-maintained if used on a live tree.
Maintenance and Lamp Replacement
To reduce the risk of overheating, replace burned-out lamps promptly. Use only 2.5 Volt, 0.43 Watt lamps for replacements. To replace a lamp, grasp the plug and remove it from the outlet, then pull the lamp and plastic base straight out of the lampholder. If the new lamp base does not fit, ensure the lamp leads are properly aligned with the holes in the base and that the leads make contact with the lampholder terminals.

Fuse Replacement
The product features an overload protection fuse. If the fuse blows, unplug the product from the power source. To replace the fuse, grasp the plug and remove it from the receptacle. Open the fuse access cover on top of the attachment plug and carefully remove the old fuse. Replace it only with a 3 Amp, 125 Volt fuse. Close the fuse access cover securely before plugging the unit back in.
Electrical Capacity
When connecting multiple light strings, ensure the total wattage does not exceed 216 Watts. If a string does not have a wattage rating, calculate it by multiplying the current (0.17A) by 120. For example, a string rated at 0.17A consumes 20.4 Watts. Always verify the total load before connecting additional strings to prevent electrical hazards.
