To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury, please observe the following safety precautions:
- Do not use seasonal products outdoors unless marked suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
- Do not install on trees having needles, leaves, or branch covering of metal or materials that look like metal.
- Do not mount or support strings in a manner that can cut or damage wire insulation.
- Unplug the product when leaving the house or retiring for the night.
- This is an electric product, not a toy. Keep away from small children.
- Do not close doors or windows on the product or extension cords as this may damage the wire insulation.
- Do not cover the product with cloth, paper, or any material not part of the product when in use.
Fuse Replacement
If the product fails to light, the fuse may need to be replaced:

- Grasp the plug and remove from the receptacle or other outlet device. Do not unplug by pulling on the cord.
- Slide open the fuse access cover on top of the attachment plug.
- Remove the fuse carefully.
- Replace the fuse only with a 3 Amp, 125 Volt fuse.
Lamp Replacement
If a lamp is burned out, replace it promptly to reduce the risk of overheating:

- Unplug the product from the power source.
- Grasp the lamp and pull the plastic base straight out of the lampholder.
- Replace with a new 2.5 Volt, 0.43 Watt lamp.
- If the new lamp base does not fit, ensure the lamp leads are straight and aligned with the holes in the lampholder.
- Bend the leads up like other lamps in the set so that the leads touch the contacts inside the lampholder.
Electrical Specifications
To calculate the total wattage of connected strings, multiply the current (0.17A) by 120. For example, 0.17A x 120 = 20.4 Watts per string. Do not exceed a total of 216 Watts when connecting multiple strings together.
