This document provides instructions for the assembly, operation, and maintenance of the Home Decorators Collection 1927FM-28-310 electric fireplace TV stand. Before beginning, ensure you have a Phillips screwdriver and that all parts are present. The unit is designed for televisions weighing up to 58 lbs (26.3 kg). Always prioritize safety by using the included tip restraint hardware and ensuring the unit is placed on a level surface.

Safety Information

DANGER: To reduce the risk of electric shock or fire, ensure the unit is stable and not prone to tipping. Always unplug the appliance before cleaning or servicing. Do not use in bathrooms, laundry areas, or near water.

• Clearance: Keep combustible materials (furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, curtains) at least 3 feet from the front, sides, and rear of the fireplace.
• Electrical: Connect only to a properly grounded 120V, 60Hz outlet. Do not use extension cords or power strips.
• Stability: The unit must be mounted to the wall or floor using the provided tip restraint hardware to prevent tipping, which can cause severe injury or death.

Assembly Instructions

The estimated assembly time is 50 minutes. Ensure all parts are present before starting.

1. Front Panel: Insert wooden dowels (CC) into the center panel (E) and align with left/right front panels (C, D). Secure with washers (BB) and long bolts (AA).
2. Outer Walls: Attach outer walls (B) to the front assembly using dowels (CC), washers (BB), and long bolts (AA).
3. Base: Place the assembly onto the base and heater (J) and secure with hardware.
4. Top: Attach the top (A) using dowels (CC), washers (BB), and long bolts (AA).
5. Glass Front: Lower the fireplace glass front (I) into the groove on the base and secure with plastic knobs.
6. Grate and Log: Install the fireplace grate (N) and connect the USB cable. Place the fire log (M) on the grate.
7. Brick Wall: Install the fireplace brick wall (H) and secure with L-brackets (EE) and short screws (DD).
8. Heater Top: Place the heater top panel (G) on the firebox.
9. Leveling: Use the pre-assembled levelers on the base to level the unit.

Operating Instructions

The control panel displays heater settings when powered ON. Functions stored in memory will resume at the last setting.

• Power: Press the POWER ICON to turn the unit ON or OFF.
• Flame Brightness: Adjust settings 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, or OFF.
• Flame Speed: Adjust settings 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.
• Heater: Set to HI for continuous heat or OF to use flame effects without heat. The thermostat range is 65°F (18°C) to 90°F (43°C).
• Sleep Timer: Available via remote control; settings range from 30 minutes to 9 hours.
• Heater Override: To prevent accidental activation, press the POWER ICON while the display is flashing and hold for 20 seconds. E3 will display when disengaged.

Care and Maintenance

• Cleaning: Ensure the unit is OFF, unplugged, and cool. Use a water-dampened soft cloth for metal trim. Do not use brass polish or household cleaners.
• Remote Battery: Replace with a CR2025 lithium battery when the range is reduced.
• Touch-up: Use the included touch-up pen (FF) for scratches, stroking in the direction of the scratch or wood grain.
