This electric fireplace console requires assembly, with an estimated time of 50 minutes. Before beginning, ensure all parts are present and verify that your electrical outlet is a 120V, 15-Amp, 60 Hz grounded circuit. For safety, the unit must be placed on a level surface and secured with the included tip restraint hardware to prevent tipping. Do not use extension cords or power strips.

Safety Information

Important: Read all instructions before use. This appliance is hot when in use; keep combustible materials at least 3 feet away. Do not block air intakes or exhaust vents. The unit is intended for indoor use only and should not be placed in bathrooms or laundry areas. Always unplug the unit before cleaning or servicing.

Assembly Instructions

The assembly process involves 19 steps. Key stages include:

• Installing the center shelf and connecting rods to the base.
• Attaching the middle and outer walls to the base.
• Installing the front bar and back panels.
• Securing the top panel.
• Installing the fireplace glass front, grate, and fire log.
• Attaching the brick wall and shelves.
• Installing the doors and adjusting the levelers.

Ensure all screws and locknuts are fully tightened during assembly. Use a Phillips screwdriver for all steps.

Operating Instructions

The unit can be controlled via the control panel or the included remote control. Functions include:

• Power: Turns the unit ON or OFF. The fan runs for 40 seconds after power-off to cool down.
• Flame Brightness: Adjusts brightness settings (5, 4, 3, 2, 1, OFF).
• Flame Speed: Adjusts speed settings (5, 4, 3, 2, 1).
• Heater: Adjusts heat settings. Can be set to HI for continuous heat or OF to use flame effects without heat. The thermostat range is 65°F to 90°F (18°C to 43°C).
• Sleep Timer: Available on remote only; sets a countdown to shut down the unit.

Heater Override: To prevent accidental activation, the heater can be disengaged. With the unit OFF, press the POWER icon, then press and hold the POWER icon for 20 seconds. The E3 symbol will display to indicate the heater is disengaged.

Care and Maintenance

Clean the metal trim with a water-dampened soft cloth; do not use brass polish or household cleaners. The fan and flame generator motors are pre-lubricated. If the remote control stops working, replace the battery with a CR2025 lithium battery.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues, check the following:

• Error E1/E2: Overheat or sensor issue. Unplug for 15-20 minutes to reset.
• Error E3: Heater override is active. See the Heater Override section.
• No Power: Ensure the cord is securely plugged into a 120V outlet.
• No Flame Effect: Check brightness settings or ensure the USB cable is connected behind the fireplace grate.
