The Ikan PT-PEDAL is a wired foot controller designed for Ikan Beam Splitter Glass Teleprompters. It connects via USB to a Windows computer and uses the Key Remapper software to control scroll speed, start, and stop functions within the Ikan Prompter Pro software.
Product overview
The controller features three pedals with a curved design suitable for right- or left-foot configurations. It includes dampeners to reduce noise during operation. Use the device on a flat surface for optimal control.

Software setup
To use the foot pedal, you must install the Key Remapper software on your computer. Connect the foot switch to a USB port and run the software to configure the pedal actions.
Configuring pedals
Follow these steps in the Key Remapper software to assign functions to each pedal:
Left pedal configuration
1. In the software, double-click "(double click to add)".

2. Click the "Key of mouse button" section and tap the left pedal.
3. Click the "Replace by following key" section and press the space bar on your keyboard.
4. Click OK.
Center pedal configuration
1. In the software, double-click "(double click to add)".

2. Click the "Key of mouse button" section and tap the middle pedal.
3. Click the "Replace by following key" section and scroll up on your mouse.
4. Click OK.
Right pedal configuration
1. In the software, double-click "(double click to add)".

2. Click the "Key of mouse button" section and tap the right pedal.
3. Click the "Replace by following key" section and scroll down on your mouse.
4. Click OK.
Usage in Prompter Pro
Once mapping is complete, open Prompter Pro. Use the pedals to control the script scroll. Pushing the scroll pedals multiple times adjusts the speed, while the left pedal stops the script.
