The PAX & KOMPLEMENT system is a modular wardrobe solution. Before purchasing, use the PAX planning tool available at IKEA.ca or in-store to design your configuration. Important: This furniture must be fixed to the wall. Different wall materials require different types of mounting hardware, which is not included. Two people are required to assemble this furniture safely.
Planning your wardrobe
Designing your wardrobe involves three main steps:

- Choose frames: Consider your room's height and width. Corner units are available to maximize space.
- Pick your style: Select doors in your preferred color and type (hinged or sliding).
- Choose interior organizers: Select KOMPLEMENT organizers (drawers, shelves, rails, baskets) based on your storage needs.
Frame dimensions and requirements
Frames are available in two heights (201 cm or 236 cm) and two depths (35 cm or 58 cm). Minimum ceiling heights are required for assembly:
- Hinged doors/Open: 202 cm for 201 cm frames; 237 cm for 236 cm frames.
- Sliding doors: 205 cm for 201 cm frames; 240 cm for 236 cm frames.
Doors
Hinged doors are available for 50 cm and 100 cm frames only. Sliding doors are sold in pairs and require specific frame combinations (e.g., 150 cm, 200 cm, or 300 cm total width).

Interior organizers
The KOMPLEMENT range includes shelves, drawers, glass shelves, pull-out trays, clothes rails, and mesh baskets. Ensure you select organizers that match the depth of your frame (35 cm or 58 cm).
Integrated lighting
Integrated lighting options include ÖVERSIDAN (wardrobe strips), KÖLVATTEN (battery-operated), YTBERG, and TVÄRDRAG (cabinet lighting). Lighting requires a driver (TRÅDFRI or ANSLUTA) and a power supply cord. TRÅDFRI drivers allow for dimming and smart control via the DIRIGERA hub.

Common problems
Check the minimum ceiling height requirements (202-240 cm depending on door type) and measure your available wall space before purchasing.
Verify the driver wattage limits. ANSLUTA drivers support up to 19W. TRÅDFRI drivers support 10W or 30W limits. Ensure you are not exceeding these totals.
Sliding doors are sold in pairs and divided into three packages. Use the picking list to ensure you collect one door frame and two packages of door panels.
Before use

- Verify wall material to purchase appropriate mounting hardware (not included).
- Ensure two people are available for assembly.
