Table of contents

Quick guide from the manual

The Sim-Lab Inverted Pedal Rack V2 is designed to allow inverted pedal mounting on various Sim-Lab cockpits. Due to the weight of the assembly once pedals are installed, it is strongly recommended to perform the final installation onto the cockpit as a 2-person job.

  • Compatibility: Compatible with GT1 EVO, GT1 PRO, P1X Pro, and P1X ULTIMATE.
  • Assembly Tip: Build the rack upside down initially to make mounting the pedals easier.
  • Safety: Ensure no moving parts of your pedals interfere with the crossbar.

Tools and Preparation

Before starting, ensure you have the following tools:

  • 5/6mm Hex wrench
  • 13mm wrench
  • Tape measure

If you forget to install a slot-nut, you can insert it directly into the slot from the side. Use a smaller hex wrench to help wiggle it into place.

Assembly Steps

Base and Uprights

Start by assembling the base using the 480mm profiles (A1) and pivot plates (A3). Then, attach the left (A4) and right (A5) uprights. The manual recommends building this section upside down.

Pedal Mounting

Mount your pedals to the base. Note that the pedals should lean forward. Ensure that no moving parts of the pedals interfere with the crossbar (A2) once installed.

Heel Rest

Attach the heel rest (A6) to the assembly. The heel rest can be used in an inverted orientation for lower positioning.

Pedal Slider Installation

If you are using a pedal slider, refer to page 11 for the specific preparation steps. Follow the separate 'Pedal Slider Baseplate' manual for the slider hardware, then return to page 4 of this manual to continue.

Bill of Materials

Refer to page 14 for the complete list of profiles and hardware. Ensure all parts (A1 through A18) are present before beginning assembly.

Practical help

Common problems

Pedal interference

Ensure no moving parts of your pedals interfere with the crossbar (A2) during operation.

Insert slot-nuts directly into the slot from the side or use a small hex wrench to wiggle them into place.

Before use
