Quick Guide

The VelocityOne Race system requires a specific setup sequence to ensure proper functionality. First, mount the wheelbase to your desk or rig. Attach the VelocityOne Control Unit (VCU) to the side of the wheelbase, then attach the Race Wheel Module. Connect the cables to your console or PC, power on the system, and select your platform using the E2 wheel. Finally, use the VelocityOne Tuner app to customize settings and keep firmware updated.

Product Overview

The system consists of the following main components:

  • Race Wheel Module
  • VelocityOne Control Unit (VCU)
  • Race Wheelbase
  • Pedal Unit
  • Power Supply Unit
  • Various cables (VCU, Pedal, Xbox/PC)

  • Desk/Table Mounting: Use the integrated clamp system. Ensure the wheelbase is securely tightened to the surface. Do not over-tighten.
  • Hard Mounting: Use the provided M5 screws to secure the wheelbase and pedal unit to a racing rig or frame.

Attaching the VCU and Wheel

For ease of assembly, attach the VCU before the wheel module:

  1. Remove the two M3 fastening bolts from the front of the wheel base.
  2. Slide the VCU bracket into the desired slot on the side (can be configured for left or right-hand mounting).
  3. Secure with the two M3 bolts.
  4. Connect the VCU cable to the side USB port on the wheel base and the USB port on the back of the VCU.
  5. Attach the Race Wheel Module to the wheelbase by aligning and locking it into place.

Connecting to Console or PC

Connect the components as follows:

  • Connect the Power Supply Unit to the 24V DC IN port on the wheelbase.
  • Connect the Pedal Unit to the wheelbase using the provided Pedal Cable.
  • Connect the wheelbase to your Xbox or PC using the Xbox/PC Cable.
  • If using a headset with a 3.5mm connection, plug it directly into the port on the wheelbase.

Adjusting the Pedal Unit

The pedal unit is highly customizable:

  • Pedal Resistance: Adjust the spring tension to suit your driving style.
  • Pedal Plates: The position of the pedal plates can be adjusted.
  • Stow Clutch: The clutch pedal can be stowed away if not in use.
  • Move Brake Pedal: The brake pedal position can be shifted laterally.

Powering On and Platform Selection

On the first power-on, you must select the correct platform:

  1. Connect the system via USB.
  2. Press and hold the Power button (on the VCU) for 2 seconds to turn on.
  3. Use the E2 wheel and SELECT button to choose your platform (Xbox or PC).
  4. Your choice is saved for future use. You can change this later via the 'Platform' menu on the RMD.

Practical help

Common problems

Wheelbase not responding or power issues

Check all cable connections, ensure the power supply is connected to a wall outlet, and verify the system is powered on via the VCU button.
