This document provides installation instructions for the Lucci decor Manor 145mm Holophane Glass Shade. Please note that this product is for the shade only; the main fitting is sold separately. Ensure you have all components before beginning the installation.
Installation requirements
- This installation instruction is for the shade only. If you are unsure about the installation, please contact a licensed electrician.
- The main fitting (sold separately) must be installed by a licensed electrician.
- Lay out all components on a smooth surface to ensure nothing is missing before assembling.
- Check the fitting for any damage that may have occurred during transport. Do not install if damaged.
- Ensure the power to the circuit you are working on is switched OFF.
- Take care not to pull any electrical wires during installation to avoid damaging the connection.
Fitting compatibility
This shade is compatible with the following Lucci fittings (sold separately): SKU# 031000, 031001, 031002, 031003, 031029, 031040, 031041, 031042, 031043.
Installation directions
The installation process is similar for all compatible fittings. Follow these general steps:
- Remove all packaging material from the product.
- Remove the lamp holder ring (D) from the fitting. Note: Some fittings may also have a lamp holder spacer (C) that needs to be removed.
- Install the shade (W) onto the lamp holder of the fitting.
- Secure the shade by reinstalling the lamp holder spacer (if applicable) and the lamp holder ring (D).
- Install a globe (E – not included) into the lamp holder. Do not exceed the maximum wattage rating.
Safety tips
- Always ensure the power is OFF and the fitting has cooled down before performing any maintenance, cleaning, or adjustments.
- Do not touch the globe with bare hands. Use a clean cloth, gloves, or a tissue.
- Ensure that power leads and screws are secure before connecting the power.
- Select a suitable location away from liquids and hazards.
- Ensure the fitting does not come in contact with corrosive chemicals.
- To clean, wipe with a damp clean cloth. Never soak the fitting with water.
