Setup and Operation

  • Battery Installation: Open the battery compartment on the underside of the scale and insert two AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity. Remove the insulation film before first use.
  • Positioning: Place the scale on a flat, stable, and horizontal surface to ensure accurate readings.
  • Weighing: Press the ON/OFF button. Wait for the display to show zero before placing the item on the scale.
  • Tare Function: Place an empty container on the scale and press the TARE button to reset the display to zero. You can then add the item to be weighed, and the scale will display only the net weight.

User Calibration

  • The display will show 'ZEro' followed by '2000'.
  • Place a 2kg calibration weight on the scale.
  • The display will show 'PASS' and then '2000', indicating successful calibration.
  • Important: Ensure the scale is not exposed to vibrations or drafts during the calibration process.

Troubleshooting and Error Codes

  • unSt: The scale is not on a stable surface.
  • EEEE: The weight exceeds the maximum capacity of the scale.
  • Lo: The batteries are depleted and need to be replaced.
