Setup and Operation

  • Battery Installation: Insert two AAA batteries into the compartment on the underside of the scale, ensuring correct polarity. Remove the insulation film before first use.
  • Positioning: Place the scale on a flat, stable, and horizontal surface.
  • Weighing: Switch on the scale using the TARE button. Wait for the display to show zero before placing the item on the scale.
  • Tare Function: To weigh items in a container, place the empty container on the scale and press the TARE button to reset the display to zero. Then, add the item to be weighed. The display will show only the net weight.
  • Switching Units: With the scale turned on, press the UNIT button to cycle through and select the desired weight unit.
  • Switching Off: Press and hold the TARE button until the display turns off. The scale features an automatic shut-off after approximately 3 minutes of inactivity.

Calibration

If necessary, the scale can be recalibrated. With the scale off and unloaded, press and hold the TARE and UNIT buttons simultaneously. Follow the on-screen prompts to use 2000g and 5000g calibration weights. Ensure the scale is not exposed to vibrations or air currents during this process.

Troubleshooting and Safety

  • Overload: If the weight exceeds the maximum capacity, the display will show O_Ld.
  • Low Battery: If Lo appears on the display, replace the batteries.
