This document provides specific installation instructions for the Nordrive C222 Fit Kit. Important: Before using this document, you must first consult and follow the instructions in the main A+B manual provided with your roof bar system.
Compatibility
The C222 Fit Kit is compatible with the following vehicle:
- Vehicle: Kia Picanto
- Doors: 5
- Year: 06/17 onwards
Assembly and Installation
Follow these steps to assemble and install the kit:
- Preparation: Ensure you have all components listed in the content section (rubber pads, metal brackets, screws, and washers).
- Base Assembly: Insert the rubber pads (00GO0201-0204) into the base supports (52PL0001) as shown in the diagrams.
- Settings: Adjust the roof bars according to the specific measurements for your vehicle. For the Kia Picanto, use the following settings:
- EVOS ST (Standard): Front (X 15.5, F 76.5cm), Rear (Y 11.5, R 72.5cm)
- EVOS LP (Low Profile): Front (X 23.5, F 84.5cm), Rear (Y 19.5, R 80.5cm)
- Mounting: Position the assembled supports on the vehicle roof. Secure the metal brackets (40FE0350-0353) to the designated points on the vehicle.
- Tightening: Tighten the screws using the provided tool until a minimum torque of 3Nm is reached.
Safety and Maintenance
Always verify that the roof bars are securely attached before loading. The maximum load capacity for the system is 50kg. Ensure the production lot number is kept for any future spare parts inquiries.

Common problems
Roof bars are loose after installation
Ensure the screws are tightened to the minimum required torque of 3Nm.
Incorrect positioning on the roof
Verify the X and Y measurements provided in the settings table for your specific vehicle model.
Before use
- Read the main A+B manual first
- Verify all components (pads, brackets, screws) are present
- Check vehicle compatibility (Kia Picanto 5-door, 06/17+)
- Measure and set the bar positions (X/Y and F/R values)
- Ensure all screws are tightened to at least 3Nm
