This document provides installation instructions for the Superior Life LED Linear High Bay fixture. Installation must be performed by a qualified licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code and local codes. The fixture is suitable for dry or damp locations.
Safety Precautions
- Risk of Fire or Electrical Shock: Always turn off electrical power at the fuse or circuit breaker box before wiring or performing maintenance.
- Verify that the supply voltage matches the luminaire label information.
- Do not expose wiring to edges of sheet metal or other sharp objects.
- Avoid direct eye exposure to the light source while it is on.
- Ensure all wiring connections are capped with UL-approved wire connectors.
Installation
Before beginning, remove the fixture from packaging and inspect for damages. Handle with care.
Standard Chain Mount
- Install the chain into the provided wire hanger.
- Secure the other end of the chain to a structure using hardware rated for the load.
- Install the wire hanger on the side of the top LED channel, ensuring it is fully engaged into the side holes.
Wiring
Connect the LED high bay wiring to the line voltage wire:
- Black: Hot
- White: Neutral
- Green: Ground
0-10V Dimming: The fixture includes purple and pink (or gray) wires for 0-10V dimming. If not connecting to a dimming circuit, ensure these leads are capped off separately to prevent improper operation and voiding the warranty.
Additional Mounting Options
The fixture supports alternative mounting methods, which are sold separately:
- Cable Mount: Uses flexible metallic conduit for suspension.
- Pendent Mount: Designed for 3/8" IPS mounting.
Clean all residues and fingerprints from the fixture and lens after installation. Double-check all hanging hardware before finalizing.

Common problems
Improper fixture operation
Ensure 0-10V dimming wires (purple and pink/gray) are capped off separately if not in use.
Wiring damage or abrasion
Ensure wiring is not exposed to edges of sheet metal or other sharp objects during installation.
Before use
- Turn off electrical power at the fuse or circuit breaker box.
- Verify supply voltage matches the luminaire label.
- Ensure all wiring connections are capped with UL-approved connectors.
- Check that hanging hardware is rated for the load.
- Clean residues and fingerprints from the lens.
