This appliance is designed for roasting, frying, grilling, stewing, baking, and making casseroles. It features a nonstick surface and a tempered glass cover. Important: Always attach the heat control to the appliance first, then plug the cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn the control to OFF, then remove the plug from the wall outlet.
Assembly
Before first use, ensure the skillet is assembled correctly:

- Skillet Body: Place the skillet upside down. Remove the four screws from the mounting projections. Position the leg handle assemblies, line up the holes, and fasten the screws securely. Do not overtighten to avoid cracking the handles.
- Cover Handle: Remove the two screws from the handle. Position the inverted cover over the handle, align the holes, and fasten the screws securely.
Operating instructions
Before using for the first time, wash the skillet and cover in warm, soapy water, rinse, and dry. Do not immerse the Control Master heat control in water or any liquid.

- Place the skillet on a dry, level, heat-resistant surface. Use a heat-resistant counter protector (like aluminum foil) if necessary.
- Insert the Control Master heat control probe into the skillet so the two electrical pins are fully inserted.
- Connect the cord to a 120VAC electrical outlet.
- Turn the heat control to the desired temperature. The pilot light will turn off when the selected temperature is reached (approximately 5 to 10 minutes).
- During cooking, the pilot light will cycle on and off to maintain the temperature.
Care and cleaning
After each use, remove the heat control and wash the skillet in warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
- Nonstick Surface: Use a non-metal cleaning pad (e.g., Scotch-Brite). Do not use steel wool or abrasive cleaners.
- Dishwasher Use: Washing in the dishwasher may cause the bottom to discolor and form a gray residue.
- Discoloration Removal: If the nonstick finish darkens, boil a solution of two tablespoons of automatic dishwasher detergent powder and two cups of water. Simmer uncovered for 20 minutes, then wash and dry. Wipe with vegetable oil before next use.
- Glass Cover: Dishwasher safe. Do not use abrasive pads or powders.
