Quick Start Guide

This guide provides essential instructions for operating the Roberts Rambler Mini. It covers basic controls, radio tuning, Bluetooth connectivity, and system settings.

Device Controls

The device features a top-mounted control panel. Key functions include:

• ON/OFF: Power the device on or off.
• Volume: Adjust the audio level.
• Menu: Access system settings (press and hold for 2 seconds).
• Info: Cycle through playback information.
• Select / Play / Pause: Confirm selections or control media playback.
• Previous / Next: Navigate through stations or tracks.
• Back: Return to the previous menu.

Radio Operation

The radio supports DAB and FM modes.

• Mode Selection: Use the Mode button to switch between DAB, FM, and Bluetooth.
• FM Auto-Tuning: To perform an auto-tune in FM mode, press and hold the Select button for 2 seconds.
• Station Selection: Use the Previous/Next buttons to tune to specific stations.

Bluetooth Mode

To use the device as a Bluetooth speaker:

• Switch to Bluetooth mode using the Mode button.
• The device will attempt to connect to the last used device.
• Use the Play/Pause button to control playback and the Previous/Next buttons to change tracks.

Presets

You can save and recall your favorite radio stations:

• Recall: Press the Preset button to access saved stations.
• Save: Tune to the desired station, then press and hold the Preset button for 2 seconds to save it.

Connectivity and Power

• USB-C Power: Use the USB-C port for charging the device.
• Headphone Jack: Connect headphones via the 3.5mm jack for private listening.
• Aerial: Ensure the aerial is fully extended for optimal reception.
