Important Warranty Information
This document outlines the 1-year limited warranty provided by Roberts Consolidated Industries for specific specialty adhesives. The warranty covers factory defects provided the products are used within their shelf life and in accordance with Roberts product data sheets, industry standards, and manufacturer guidelines.
Covered Products
The 1-year limited warranty applies to the following Roberts specialty adhesives:
- 1406, 2072, 4002, 5900, 7250, 7500, 8015, 8200, 8502, 8799, SR90
Warranty Coverage and Exclusions
Coverage: Roberts will provide a replacement product and pay reasonable costs for material and labor for the specific part of the installation requiring replacement, subject to Roberts' discretion.
Exclusions: The warranty does not cover:
- Structural failures or improper subfloor preparation.
- Improper labor, storage, or maintenance.
- Products not sold as first quality.
- Damage from moisture, water, or excessive alkali.
- Acts of God (hurricanes, floods, earthquakes).
- Normal wear and tear or damage from misuse/abuse.
- Products purchased from unauthorized suppliers.
How to File a Claim
To initiate a warranty claim, follow these steps:
- Notify Roberts in writing within 30 days of discovering the alleged defect.
- Provide proof of purchase.
- Provide the lot number or adhesive code.
- Allow Roberts to inspect the installation, including taking samples of the floor, adhesive, and subfloor preparation material.
Note: Any repairs or replacements made without written authorization from Roberts will void the warranty.
