The Rowenta Perfect Steam station is designed for high-performance ironing. Important: Always allow the appliance to cool for at least 2 hours before performing any maintenance, such as rinsing the boiler or scale collector. Never use descaling products (vinegar, industrial descalers) as they can damage the appliance.
Description of the appliance

- Iron handle with steam trigger
- Iron temperature control dial
- Removable 1.4L water tank
- Control panel with indicator lights
- Scale collector or boiler rinse cap (depending on model)
- Steam cord and electric cord storage
Preparation
Place the steam station on a flat, stable, and heat-resistant surface. To fill the tank, press the lock on the tank handle to remove it, fill with untreated tap water up to the Max level, and slide it back until it clicks. If your water is very hard, mix 50% tap water with 50% distilled water.

Operation
Press the On/Off switch to start. The green light will flash while the boiler heats up. When the light is continuous, the steam is ready. Use the iron temperature control dial to select the fabric type (Synthetics, Silk/Wool, Cotton/Linen). Press the steam trigger under the handle to release steam. For vertical steaming, set the temperature to max, hold the garment on a hanger, and press the steam trigger while moving the iron from top to bottom.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Cleaning: Clean the soleplate with a damp, non-abrasive sponge when cool. Clean plastic parts with a soft cloth.
Descaling: The appliance requires regular rinsing of the boiler or scale collector to maintain performance. If the "Calc-Away System" or "Boiler rinse" light flashes, the system needs rinsing. Ensure the unit is unplugged and has cooled for at least 2 hours. Remove the collector/cap, rinse it under running water, or fill the boiler with 1/4 liter of water, shake, and empty it into a sink. Press the "Restart" button after the next use to turn off the indicator light.
Troubleshooting
If the steam station does not switch on, check the power connection. If water leaks from the soleplate, ensure the iron is hot enough before using steam. If there is no steam, check if the water tank is empty or not properly fitted.
