This manual provides essential instructions for the safe and efficient operation of the Ryobi 18V Brushless Blower (P21014). Always read the full safety instructions before use. The blower is intended for clearing leaves and debris from lawns, decks, and driveways.
Assembly
- Blower Tube: Place the tube on the housing outlet with the tab facing down and press until it locks onto the latch. Ensure it is secure by pulling on it.
- Speed Tip: Align the tab on the speed tip with the latch on the blower tube and press until it locks.
- Battery Pack: Insert the battery pack into the battery port until the latches snap into place.
Operation
- Starting/Stopping: Depress the switch trigger to start; release it to stop.
- Turbo Boost: While the trigger is depressed, press the turbo boost button for maximum air velocity.
- Cruise Control: Depress the trigger to the desired speed, then push the cruise control lever down. To release, pull the lever all the way up.
- Operating Tips: Blow around the outer edges of debris piles to avoid scattering. Use rakes or brooms to loosen debris first.
Safety
- Always wear eye protection with side shields (ANSI Z87.1) and hearing protection.
- Keep bystanders, children, and pets at least 50 ft. away.
- Do not operate in explosive atmospheres or near flammable liquids.
- Remove the battery pack before cleaning, maintenance, or storage.
- Store indoors in a dry, secure place.
Maintenance
Periodically inspect the unit for damaged or loose parts. Clean with a dry cloth; never use water, liquids, or strong solvents. Service must be performed only by qualified repair personnel using identical replacement parts.
