Product description

The hedge trimmer features a 22-inch blade with a 3/4-inch cutting capacity. It is powered by an 18V battery and includes anti-jam technology, a debris deflector, and a lock-out button for safety.

Assembly

Operation

To start the trimmer, remove the scabbard, press and hold the lock-out button, and depress the switch trigger. To stop, release the switch trigger. Always hold the unit with both hands. For best results, use a slow, sweeping motion. If the blades jam, stop the motor, remove the battery, and clear the obstruction.

Maintenance

Always remove the battery before cleaning or performing maintenance. Lubricate the blades before and after each use with lightweight machine oil. Keep the unit clean and store it in a dry, secure place. For sharpening, use an 8-inch smooth round file (1/4 in. or 7/32 in. diameter) to maintain the original tooth angle.

Safety

Never use water or liquids to clean the unit. Keep the work area clear of cords, wires, and debris. Always store the unit with the blade cover (scabbard) in place.

Troubleshooting

If the blades jam, the motor will automatically reverse slightly. Release the trigger and depress it again to resume. If the unit fails to operate, ensure the battery is fully seated and charged.
